<p>Driving on the N12 today I saw this shocker of a billboard. Reads:<strong> Remember, exercise caution when you see orange</strong><a title="Telkom Billboard poking fun at Neotel" href="http://www.thehouseofmarketing.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/billboard.jpg"></a>What was Telkom thinking!! It&#8217;s surprising to see how ballsy Telkom is being. I am not sure this will work very well for them and believe that Neotel will be on the phone to their lawyers to get the billboard pulled ASAP. If I was Telkom I would have added a small line stating &#8220;a message in the interest of public safety&#8221;, that would have covered their ass and probably gotten a bit more respect out of everyone who saw the billboard.</p>
<p>The positioning however can&#8217;t be beat if you are going to pull a stunt like that, it is sure to get a lot of attention for the time that it is up.</p>

Now, I’d imagine Trevor Noah (tw) to be a pretty smart guy, but to be sold into becoming the face of a widely considered struggling brand, they must have sold him the world. <p>For art like this we need to recognise our artists. Or do they have to be creative and use these elements to bring art to life? If talent like this is exercised, we’ll see lot more people expressing themselves. We do see it everyday through media but we miss that element of original handcrafted art to restore its beauty.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><code>Ever been caught in the world of creativity, their people seem crazy sometimes (sorry team!). They never run out of ideas. I wonder if BMW keeps the same group of creative people because they don't stop pushing - remember the ad “it beats the bends”, also the “3 circles”. And recently I came across these striking - stylish, sleek and beautiful beasts, HEAD ON! It brought chills to my skin.<br />
Though I hate confessions, this ad left me fuzzy because my favourite car brand happens to be in the picture. However, I noted competitive advertising; which is dangerous because the advert was pulled. Mind if I call this lazy advertising?!.</code></p>
